Once you’ve completed at least one year of study, you can participate in the Erasmus program and study for one or two semesters at one of our partner universities. The study mobility period ranges from 2 to 12 months. Your tuition fees for the period abroad are covered by the partner university, while you continue to pay your fees at the BA School of Business and Finance.   • Proof of General Secondary or Vocational Secondary Education: You must present a diploma that certifies your general secondary or vocational secondary education.

  • Centralized Exam Certificates: Certificates in Latvian language, Mathematics, and English (minimum B2 level) are required.

  • How to Apply. You can apply through the portal by authenticating with an eID card with an electronic signature, an electronic signature, eParaksts mobile, or using internet banking. During this period, you can submit, modify, and confirm your applications in the unified admissions system.

    • You can authenticate (log in) to the e-service with your secure authentication.

Typically no, for the 1st and 2nd year, the program is designed as a full-time day program, and it is not intended for students who plan to work part-time. However, theoretically, you could combine studies with work outside of regular working hours. From the 3rd year onwards, students usually have the opportunity to work.

2. Are there any sponsored places and scholarships available?

Yes, but there are limited spots. Each group has 2 sponsored places awarded on a rotational basis, based on the previous year's academic performance. The 2 top-performing students each year get to study for free. These spots are not state-funded; instead, each school sponsors one place to motivate students to excel in their studies. Even if you don’t secure a sponsored place in your first year, you have the chance to earn one in the following years by performing well academically. Additionally, you can apply for various scholarships and financial aid programs to help cover the costs. Self-funding your studies often motivates better performance, as you’ll want to maximize your investment in education.
